Lady Gaga offers reward after Bulldogs stolen and dog walker shot

Thieves shot Lady Gaga’s dog walker and made off with two of her French Bulldogs on Wednesday night, law enforcement sources told entertainment news website TMZ.

It is not clear whether there were any words exchanged or an altercation before Ryan Fischer, 30, was shot four times outside his West Hollywood home as he was walking the star’s dogs, Koji, Miss Asia and Gustave. Koji and Gustave were kidnapped while Miss Asia ran away and was later recovered.

When Los Angeles police officers arrived at the scene, they found Fischer conscious but barely breathing. He was transported to a local hospital. The Daily Mail reported that he was in “grave” condition, but TMZ heard from police that he is expected to recover.

Lady Gaga, who is in Rome shooting a movie, was reportedly “extremely upset” and has offered $500,000 to the person who has her dogs — “no questions asked,”

Law enforcement does not know if the target was Lady Gaga’s dogs specifically. French Bulldogs are in demand and expensive, so sources say it’s possible the gunman did not know the dogs were owned by Lady Gaga.

The gunman is still on the loose.

A number of Frenchies, said to be San Francisco’s most popular dog, have been stolen in the past several months in the Bay Area. In January, a woman was beaten and her French bulldog taken at gunpoint.
