In case you’ve been living in a cave for the best decade, Justin Bieber is a 26 year old pop singer from Canada. But let’s face it, you know who Justin Bieber is I don’t need to go on right? He has a total of SIX number one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 including “Despacito”, “Sorry” and “Love Yourself”.

In March 2019, after the MASSIVE success of his album Purpose Bieber announced on Instagram that he will be taking a break from music to fix “deep rooted issues”. However, in December of that year, he said that he’d be releasing his fifth studio album. The album’s first single “Yummy” debuted at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100. He released his album Changes on Valentine’s day 2020, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, marking his seventh US number-one album. Because of the global pandemic his tour to promote the album was obviously cancelled.

However he released many singles including “Stuck With U” with Ariana Grande, and “Holy” featuring Chance the Rapper which peaked at number 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100. His latest single released in January 2021 is “Anyone”

NOW on Friday, the biebs announced his sixth studio album will be coming out on March 19th, it will be called Justice.

The collection will feature his hit collaboration with Chance the Rapper, ” as well as the Benny Blanco-featuring track “Lonely” and “Anyone,” all of which are still in the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

ALSO Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has been confirmed as one of the featured acts on Bieber’s forthcoming album. The news has made the Nigerian Twitter-verse go crazy!


The last tweet is referring to Burna Boy’s Grammy nominated album African Giant. A clip has leaked on Twitter supposedly of Burna Boy and Justin Bieber in the studio together.

In other Burna news, two days ago he released a collaboration with Mexican/American artist Becky G as part of a new Pepsi campaign. It is uncommon to hear a reggaeton/Afrobeats collaboration. Built on a signature reggaeton beat, the song blends the two artists’ unique sounds, resulting in a scintillating track that could be a hit in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa, as well as the US, the melting pot where people from all cultures collide and collaborate.

First of all, did you know Bruno Mars’ real name is Peter Gene Hernandez. At the age of two, he was nicknamed “Bruno” by his father because of his resemblance to professional wrestler Bruno Sammartino.

Bruno Mars is currently 35 years old, and throughout his career, he’s had SIX songs peak at number 1 on the prestigious US Billboard Hot 100 chart. He’s no less than ELEVEN Grammy’s! (Justin Bieber has 1).

His two previous albums Unorthodox Jukebox and 24K Magic have been huge worldwide successes. In 2016, his song “Uptown Funk” won two Grammy Awards including the highly coveted Record of the Year. On February 7th 2016, Coldplay headlined the Super Bowl halftime show, with Bruno Mars and Beyonce as guest acts. It became the one of the most watched halftime shows in Super Bowl history.

In November 2016, “24K Magic” was released. The single “That’s what I like” was the album’s highest charting single on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number one. Since then, Mars he’s released collaborations with Cardi B and Ed Sheeran.

On February 26, 2021, Mars and American rapper Anderson Paak announced thay have recorded an album together under the band name Silk Sonic. The band’s debut album is set to be titled An Evening with Silk Sonic. The first single will be released on March 5, 2021.

In other Bruno Mars news, this is a funny but sad story. A 63-year-old Texas woman was scammed out of $100,000 in a Instagram scam where she was led to believe she was dating pop star Bruno Mars!

Two Nigerian men based in Houston Texas have been charged with money laundering. The victim communicated with the men online through Instagram and Google Hangout thinking that she was talking to the 11-time Grammy Award winner. Investigators said the woman “fell in love” with “Mars” and was duped into thinking he was going to retire from his concert tour in order to be with her. So the “singer” asked the woman to deposit $100,000 into banks accounts as a way of helping him cover his tour expenses.

If convicted, the two men each face between two and ten years in state prison.

 In more New Music News, Maroon 5 will join forces with Megan Thee Stallion for the first time on their upcoming single “Beautiful Mistakes,” which will be released on March 3.

Maroon 5 made recent chart history with Megan’s “WAP” collaborator Cardi B on “Girls Like You,” which spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and it also made history for longest-running number one song on Billboard‘s Radio Songs chart in 2018 with NINE weeks.

The Houston rapper is up for four Grammys, including best new artist and record of the year for her “Savage” remix, featuring Beyonce, who leads this year’s nominations with nine total nods.

For 2021, we were promised a lot more music from some of the World’s biggest music stars:

  • We are still waiting for Drake’s highly anticipated sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy. According to DJ Akademiks, the Toronto-bred rap star is preparing his album for an April release; “Drake told me that it’s gonna be dropping before April. So, he’s not waiting until summer to drop his shit… April or before.” Drake has already postponed his album twice, once last summer because of the pandemic, and then again in January after saying he was recovering from knee surgery. He can already expect his album to be a huge hit, as he’s already released the lead single off of CLB “Laugh Now Cry Later” featuring Lil Durk which reached the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot 100.
  • Kendrick Lamar has mostly held back from new music of his own since curating the Black Panther soundtrack in 2018. This October, though, he appeared on Busta Rhymes’ new “Look Over Your Shoulder.” He’s otherwise kept quiet about his next steps in the studio after his Pulitzer-winning DAMN. But it has been announced we can expect new music from him in 2021.
  • Cardi B released the single “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion on August 7, 2020, as the lead single off her forthcoming second studio album. The song itself, and broke the record for the biggest 24-hour debut for an all-female collaboration on YouTube. “WAP” debuted at number-one on the BillBoard Hot 100 chart, garnering Cardi B her fourth chart-topper in the US, extending her record as the female rapper with the most number-one singles, and also making her the first female rapper to achieve Hot 100 number one singles in two different decades (2010s and 2020s). On February 5, 2021, Cardi B released “Up”. The song debuted at number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. However, she has yet to announced the exact date her album will be released, but it is likely it will be in 2021.
  • Travis Scott‘s album UTOPIA will be released this year, three years after the hit album ASTROWORLD. He wants to push the boundaries of his creativity as far as possible with Utopia, which he sees as the next saga in his career. “There’s so much more ground I can cover, and I want to cover it, and I love the challenge of it,” he explained. “I want to make a fucking new sound. I might spend days banging my head against a wall trying to figure it out, but once I do it, it’s like ultimate ecstasy.”
